Apple's WWDC, conference that's happening this June in San Jose, CA has been completely moved online the announcement was made officially by Apple recently, citing safety fears amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.
For the first time in its thirty-year history, the event will be held digitally. IOS developers, the press and consumers alike will gather in a new online format.
From there, Apple says that attendees will get early access to "the future of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS.
Plus, the company will commit USD1mil to the local San Jose organizations to make up for any loss in revenue the conference typically generates every year.
Last year, we saw the introduction of iOS 13 for the iPhone, watchOS 6 for the Apple Watch, and the latest Mac Pro desktop. This year, we could be seeing iOS 14 and parhaps more updates for the iPad.
