PSG chief Leonardo attempted to hold onto Thiago Silva for another season, it has been revealed.
The PSG skipper is set to leave at the end of this month, with Everton, Tottenham and former club AC Milan all chasing his signature.
Paris United reports Leonardo offered Thiago Silva a new contract - but it fell short of the 35 year-old's expectations.
PSG tabled a one-year deal - with a 12 month option - on reduced terms, which Thiago Silva immediately rejected.
As such, the veteran is now weighing up his next move.
