Ryan Fraser has REJECTED a short-term contract at Bournemouth ahead of the Premier League restart.
The Daily Mail says Fraser has turned down a short-term contract extension at Bournemouth in a blow to the club's Premier League survival hopes.
The Scotland winger, 26, is a target for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window and would be available for nothing with his contract set to expire on June 30.
As this is before the conclusion of the rescheduled Premier League season, Fraser will only be able to play a limited number of matches for Bournemouth when the action restarts.
It comes as a significant blow to the Cherries, who face a battle against relegation in the remaining weeks of the season starting with their home fixture against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
The Scot would only be available to Eddie Howe for that game and the visit to Wolves next Wednesday.
Bournemouth confirmed four players - Simon Francis, Andrew Surman, Artur Boruc and Charlie Daniels - have signed short-term contract extensions to cover the remaining nine games this season.
