Arsenal hope to land Roma winger Justin Kluivert this summer.
Arsenal have stepped up their efforts to sign Kluivert with Henrikh Mkhitaryan potentially set to be used as bait to get a cut-price deal over the line.
Calciomercato.com says Mkhitaryan might make his loan switch to Roma permanent.
While Roma would prefer to negotiate separately over Kluivert and Mkhitaryan, they may accept the Armenian as a makeweight for the Dutchman.
Roma value Ajax academy graduate Kluivert around the £36m (€40m) mark and would hope to receive at least half of that figure in cash, even if they got Mkhitaryan in return.
