Leicester City have received encouraging feedback from Nampalys Mendy's camp over new contract talks.
Having previously intimated he was ready to quit the Foxes with his contract running down, Le 10 Sport says Mendy has now performed an about-face.
While nothing has been agreed, Mendy's representatives have assured Leicester a willingness of the midfielder to reach terms.
Trabzonspor, St Etienne and Udinese have all been in contact with Mendy in recent months.
But the midfielder is now leaning towards staying with the Foxes next season and beyond.
