INSIDER: Fenerbahce tabled contract offer to Liverpool attacker Shaqiri

Fenerbahce are lining up a move for Liverpool attacker Xherdan Shaqiri.

Shaqiri, 28, is unsettled at Anfield and open to leaving this summer.

He has been linked with Newcastle United, but TivibuSpor journalist Erkut Öztürk has revealed Fener are in contact with agents for the Switzerland international.

For the moment, a contract offer worth €1.5m-a-year is on the table, though Shaqiri is demanding double that to make the move.
