Ajax fullback Nicolas Tagliafico is interesting Chelsea.
The Sun says the Blues have earmarked a new left-back as one of their top summer transfer targets, with Leicester's Ben Chilwell top of the list.
However, should Leicester's asking price prove to more than Chelsea are willing to pay, then they will look to sign Tagliafico instead.
The 27-year-old is also the subject of interest from Atletico Madrid and is one of several Ajax stars to have an agreement in place with the club that he can leave this summer if he wants to.
Blues boss Frank Lampard is desperate to sign a new left-back, Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri both looking suspect defensively at times this season.
