Former Real Madrid star Rafael van der Vaart says Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek should consider a move to Germany.
Van de Beek has been linked with Real Madrid this summer.
But Van der Vaart told Trouw: “Only one thing counts in Spain: winning prizes. This creates a certain amount of pressure. You should also be lucky.
"We also thought Frenkie (de Jong) as a perfect fit for Barcelona, but that doesn't look like much now either.
“I actually think Germany suits him better. Donny is the same kind of player as Davy Klaassen, who does best in Germany. I would consider Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund a great club for him."
