Inter Milan are urging Alexis Sanchez to drop his personal demands in order to seal a permanent move from Manchester United.
The Chilean forward, who is on loan from Manchester United, is on a staggering £500,000-a-week contract with the Premier League club, but has spent this season in Serie A.
As part of the temporary deal, Inter Milan pay £4.5million of his annual salary at Old Trafford and the club are keen to make the move permanent.
Sky Italia reports a permanent deal for Sanchez will only be possible if the 31-year-old agrees to a hefty wage cut from his Manchester United deal.
Sanchez has two years left on his United contract and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's side are desperate to get the Chilean off the wage bill ahead of an important transfer window for the Red Devils.
