Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being tipped to try again for Bournemouth striker Josh King this summer.

Bournemouth blocked a January move for the Norway international as Solskjaer sought striker cover. United eventually signed Odion Ighalo on-loan from Shanghai Shenhua.

However, Per Joar Hansen, assistant coach of the Norwegian national team, believes King could yet end up returning to Old Trafford.

"I doubt he wants to go down a level (Bournemouth are now relegated), but we will have to wait and see. The connection to United is strong. King has played there as an academy player. His former coach in the reserve team is now the head coach of the club and he has got a new agent in Jim Solbakken, who is also Solskjaer's agent," Hansen told Dagbladet.

"You should never say never. Ole Gunnar knows Josh well from the reserve team, and he has contributed to his development. In addition, Josh knows very well what United stands for. But we will not get caught up in it, it's just speculation."
