Edwin Andersson is excited to be kicking off his Chelsea career.
In February, IFK Gothenburg announced Andersson, 16, was joining Chelsea, but the move dragged on at the time as a consequence of the corona pandemic.
He is now preparing to move to London and told GT: "I am grateful to have even been training. In England they hardly could leave the house. Now I just feel relief, it will be nice to go over there. I've been waiting a good while.
"Now it's nice to go to England, but I will miss Sweden, my friends and the club too."
Andersson also trialled with Manchester United, but explained: "Chelsea was superior in everything and felt the best at the time."
