RB Leipzig director Oliver Mintzlaff insists it's no guarantee that Dayot Upamecano will leave this summer.
The France defender has been the subject of offers from Arsenal, while Chelsea are also interested. His contract has less than a year to run.
Mintzlaff commented to Kicker: "I expect he will play with us next season.
"We've had some good talks to find a solution, so we avoid him leaving us for free next year.
"Timo Werner stayed, and I expect that we will do our homework properly so that Dayot will stay."
