Leicester City are readying an offer for St Etienne defender Wesley Fofana.
Le 10 Sport says AC Milan have already had one bid for Fofana rejected by St Etienne and are expected to try again.
However, Leicester are now expected to make a first offer for the centre-half.
The proposal is due to be made before the end of the month, knowing Fofana and ASSE are preparing for the French Cup final against PSG.
Fofana, 19, has a contract with ASSE to 2024.
