Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not believe his team's transfer plans will change due to Manchester City's vindication at CAS.

The Citizens had their two year European competition ban overturned on appeal, which means they will be in next season's Champions League.

Pep Guardiola will now likely be allowed to spend money transfers to bolster his City squad, but the news won't impact United's plans for the summer window.

Asked about the matter, Solskjaer told reporters the following: "My concern is what we can do and if other teams can compete with us, fine, if they can't, fine.

"We just have to run this club as well as we can. Of course the other clubs, we're too far behind.

"We've got a smaller amount to climb than last year - but there's still a mountain to climb, to climb the table."
