Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta insists he has the full backing of club owner Stan Kroenke.
A banner reading 'Back Arteta, Kroenke Out' was flown over Villa Park on Tuesday.
Fans have been critical of Kroenke's financial investment as the Gunners are set to finish outside the top-six this season.
Speaking after the 1-0 loss, Arteta said: "The Kroenkes and the board and the sporting director, I have their full backing.
"I have that 100% - the fans have to believe what I'm saying."
