Chelsea are hellbent on finally clearing Tiémoué Bakayoko off their books this summer.
The French midfielder has spent the past two seasons at AC Milan and Monaco, having never reached his potential since leaving the principality club for Chelsea in 2017.
AC Milan are keen to sign the 26-year-old on loan once again.
However, the Guardian says Chelsea will only accept a permanent sale.
The Blues are trying to raise funds by clearing out any expendable players from Stamford Bridge.
Milan want to pay €3m to sign Bakayoko on loan, with an option to buy him for €35m next summer, but Chelsea want a permanent deal and would accept an offer of £20m.
