Everton are closing on a deal for Atletico Madrid fullback Santiago Arias.
AS says the Toffees are extremely keen to secure the signature of 28-year-old Colombia international Arias.
The 53-capped Colombia international has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Arias joined Atletico from PSV in July 2018 for £10m and made 33 appearances in all competitions during his debut campaign - scoring once and providing two assists.
However, he's now considered third-choice at Atletico with Kieran Trippier and Sime Vrsaljko ahead in the pecking order.
Everton could now capitalise with the former Sporting Lisbon full-back valued at around £13.4million.
