Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is upbeat about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's new contract talks.
Arteta has provided an update on Aubameyang's future at the Emirates, and the Spaniard insists they will have agreement soon.
He told Sky Sports: “I keep being positive, we have held some really good talks with him. I'm pretty confident we will find an agreement soon, that's my feeling.
"He (Aubameyang) should be very happy he should be able to stay at the club for a very long time and I think people will be delighted with that news."
The manager also revealed a deal for Lille defender Gabriel was also close.
“We cannot answer yet, the deal is not finalised. You all know we've been following him for a long time and we hope we can get it done.
"Everything is okay when the deal is signed and medical complete. Sometimes the final stages aren't as easy as it looks but we are pretty positive we can do it. He is the right profile for our squad."
