Departing Valencia captain Dani Parejo is undergoing a Villarreal medical today.
The midfielder is currently at the Ciudad Deportiva for medical tests, says Mundo Deportivo.
Valencia have handed Parejo a free transfer and he has quickly agreed a two-year contract with Villarreal. New coach Unai Emery hopes to have Parejo available for training this afternoon.
Parejo is following former VCF teammate Francis Coquelin to the Yellow Submarine.
Coquelin completed his move to Villarreal on Tuesday.
