Manchester United have made a contract offer to Real Madrid outcast James Rodriguez.
Colombia's La 2 Orillas reports United relayed their proposal to James' agent Jorge Mendes, who believes the midfielder should accept the offer.
However, the Colombia captain is unsure about moving abroad and would favour remaining in Spain.
A switch across town to Atletico Madrid has been mooted, with Marcos Llorente making such a switch just 12 months ago.
For their part, Real are willing to sell for less than €30m in order to clear James off the books.
