Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is looking to hire Brentford coach and free-kick specialist Andreas Georgson.
Freddie Ljungberg left the Gunners on Saturday to pursue his own management career.
And theEvening Standard reports Georgson has been identified by Arteta as someone who can improve his backroom staff.
The Gunners are in early discussions with the Bees of recruiting Georgson.
The Swede was previously an assistant at Malmo.
