Aston Villa have made an offer for Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
Marca says Aston Villa are set to sign United's Argentina international goalkeeper Romero.
They say Dean Smith's team will pay an initial €8 million (£7.1 million) for the 96-cap Argentine international.
Everton were said to hold an interest in the player but it appears that Romero will compete to be number one with Tom Heaton at Villa Park next season.
Everton have also been linked with Jasper Cillessen, of Valencia, this morning.
