Tawi Tawi: The military and Local Government Unit (LGU) in Turtle Island (Taganak) municipality which borders Southern Philippines and Sabah have already sealed off all possible entry and exit points.

Besides discouraging smugglers of imported cigarettes, sugar and other contraband products from Malaysia, it is also designed to help Malaysia over the illegal entry of undocumented people who want to disturb Sabah’s snap election on Saturday.

“Both the military and my administration are also concerned on the possible spread of Covid-19 virus if our entry and exit points remained opened to everyone,” said Turtle Island Mayor Mohd Faizal Jamalul (pic).
