SANDAKAN:

More affordable houses will be built in Sabah if the Warisan-led State Government returns to power after the September 26 State election, said caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic). He said the initiative aims to enable home ownership at a minimum pay rate among the rakyat.

“We will implement the construction of affordable housing units in all parts of Sabah. We do not want to see our people settle down and become squatters for the rest of their lives.”

He said this at a Malaysian flag handover ceremony with the Taman Murni People’s Housing Program (PPR) Residents Association, here, Thursday.
