Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) and DAP’s recognition of Sabah as a region in Malaysia is an attempt to distort the historical fact of the State, which displays ignorance and naivety in claiming state rights, says Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan). Its secretary-general Stephen Jimbangan said historical records show that Sabah was a nation and attempts to claim otherwise would be a bid to retain Malaya’s control over the state. “Sabahans must never forget their history.
