Kota Kinabalu:

Usno Advisor Tan Sri Harris Salleh (pic) said the manifestos and demands by various parties in the run-up to Saturday’s Sabah election, including pledges to restore the MA63 (Malaysia Agreement) were done on purpose to lure voters.

“This rhetoric is merely giving false hope to the people of Sabah as in the first place these parties never even spelt out in detail what is it in the MA63 that had not been adhered to or to be implemented by them,” he said.

The former Chief Minister during the Berjaya administration said it often seems to be forgotten that parliament is supreme and can amend the Malaysian or State Constitution, directly or indirectly.
