Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho expects Heung-min Son to be selected by South Korea.
The striker suffered a hip injury in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.
"I expect that he will return after a break for the national teams," said Mourinho.
"I hope that the coaches of the national teams understand how much Tottenham players have played in the last week, and will take care of the players, because they have been receiving too much work lately.
"It is very dangerous."
