Kota Kinabalu: City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji said they will take stern action against any party who tries to disrupt public order. This followed attempts by groups urging Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin not to delay the swearing-in of the new Sabah Chief Minister, the election for which was over on Saturday. The group holding placards critical of the Istana’s perceived delay in appointing the new CM were present at two locations, namely Padang Merdeka and around Lintasan Daesoka after lunch time.
