Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho admits he is interested in being an international manager one day.
Mourinho has not made it a secret that later in his career, he would like to coach a national team.
But when asked if he would become Portugal boss in the near future, he said it was a difficult possibility.
"Yes, I want to coach a national team, I want to have the experience of a World Cup and European Championship, the emotion of the short competition," Mourinho told a news conference.
"Is Portugal the one I want do do? On one side yes as it is my heart.
"But it is very difficult to do it with the country you were born in."
