Trabzonspor coach Eddie Newton admits there was no chance of keeping hold of Alexander Sorloth for the new season.
The Crystal Palace striker is in talks with Tottenham and RB Leipzig after a successful loan in Turkey last term.
Newton said, "We have done everything we can for Sorloth to be here for another season. He has decided and he wants to go another way. When you have a player who has made up his mind, it's not worth keeping him.
"His heart is not here. For me, the player's heart must be here. He must want to be here himself. If not, we have to let him go and find a replacement."
For now, RBL are emerging as favourites to land the Norway international.
