SME Sabah Founding President, Foo Ngee Kee, is confident that the unemployment problems can be resolved if small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can get enough cash flow to pay wages, suppliers and fixed costs. 

With the uncertainty of when Malaysia will open its borders to tourists and visitors from overseas, the recovery of SME’s business will continue to be affected, he said, adding this is especially so for the hotel and tourism businesses.

“It was suggested to the Sabah Government to stimulate the economy to help SMEs recover some of their business and to create jobs for the unemployed.
