Three firms  fined for having  unregistered  products

Kota Kinabalu: Three companies were fined for having unregistered products, respectively.

The companies were Arus Moden Sdn Bhd, Bayu Asiana Sdn Bhd and Borneo Recipe Sdn Bhd.

Arus Moden Sdn Bhd was fined RM6,000 for having two unregistered products at 11am on May 22, 2019 at the company premises in Warisan Square, here.

Sessions Court Judge Azreena Aziz allowed the application of its representative to pay the fine by instalment and ordered the company to pay RM3,000 on Monday.

The balance must be paid by or before on Nov 27 this year.

Meanwhile, Bayu Asiana Sdn Bhd was ordered to pay fine of RM10,000 for having two unregistered products at 11m on May 22, 2019 at the company’s premises in Lorong Grace Square 1, Jalan Pantai Sembulan.

Meanwhile, Borneo Recipe Sdn Bhd was fined a total of RM6,000 on two counts of having unregistered products.

On the first count, the company was fined RM4,500 for having for sale two unregistered products at 11am on May 22, 2019 at its premises in Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, here.

On the second count, the company was fined another RM1,500 or 30 days’ jail for having an unregistered product at noon on the same day at the same place.
