Philippe Coutinho has been granted an extra leave of absence from Barcelona's preseason.
The Brazilian was a notable absence from Monday's training session, the first under new boss Ronald Koeman.
Eagled-eyed supporters had taken the news as a hint that Coutinho could be sealing a transfer from the Camp Nou.
But it has been revealed by football.london that Coutinho was given a few extra days off after his loan spell with Bayern Munich.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the playmaker this summer.
