Aston Villa are pushing to complete a deal for Callum Wilson from Bournemouth.
The Premier League side are hoping to boost their front line after surviving on the last game of the season last term.
Wilson, who is 28, managed seven goals for relegated Bournemouth last term.
BBC says Villa have opened talks with the Cherries for the player.
A deal between the two clubs may be worth as much as £20 million.
Wilson is also wanted by Newcastle United.
