Manchester United could be about to make Real Madrid left back Sergio Reguilon a lot richer.
The Red Devils are in the market for a defender and want to sign the Spaniard, who was on loan at Sevilla last term.
Reguilon, who played against United in the Europa League semi final, could net a salary of €5 million per year if he joined United.
Spanish journalist Senen Escalante suggests Sevilla wanted to sign Reguilon permanently.
But they were blown out of the water by United, who will offer Real a transfer fee of €30 million.
It is unclear if Real will accept, or if they will ask for a buy out clause or first refusal on the player to be included in the deal.
Arsenal have also registered an interest in the 23-year-old, but given their financial limitations it is unlikely they could thwart United's plans.
