Kota Kinabalu: Sabah registered 97 new Covid-19 cases mostly in Semporna's Bangau-bangau cluster on Friday. The cluster had 74 cases, while the Benteng cluster had 13 and Laut cluster two cases. There were two hospital referral cases, two workplace screening cases, two symptomatic screening cases, one severe acute respiratory infection screening case at Tawau Hospital and one international arrival screening case involving a Malaysian.

There was also a case with Sabah travel history detected in Pahang.
