Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has sent well wishes to Donny van de Beek ahead of his move to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old is set to complete a switch to United from Ajax next week after he passed a medical on Monday.
And van Dijk thinks his Netherlands teammate is joining a 'great club' in the Red Devils.
"I wish Donny the best wholeheartedly," the Reds defender said via De Telegraaf.
"It is great for him and for the Dutch national team.
"It's a great club and step for Donny, and the same goes for Nathan Ake (to Manchester City)."
