Ajax fullback Sergino Dest has chosen to join Barcelona over Bayern Munich.
Barca and Ajax have agreed a fee of €25m for the defender, with only the method of payment needing to be ironed out.
Mundo Deportivo says Ajax were leaning towards selling Sergino to Bayern, but the player's will won out as he insisted he be allowed to move to Barca.
Sergino is personal request of Barca coach Ronald Koeman, with the youngster arriving a week after Nelson Semedo was sold to Wolves.
Barca are eager to close the signing before Thursday's LaLiga clash with Celta Vigo in Balaídos.
