Former Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes was outstanding on debut for Boavista yesterday.
Gomes was allowed to leave United on a free earlier this year, joining Ligue 1 side Lille after months of speculation.
The 20-year-old signed a five-year deal with the French club but was immediately loaned to Portuguese side Boavista for the 2020/21 campaign.
He made his official debut against Nacional yesterday and set up all three of his side's goals in the 3-3 draw, with his second assist the pick of the bunch - chipping the ball over the defensive line with a first-time outside-of-the-boot pass.
While Gomes was the star of the show, United suffered a defeat in their first Premier League game of the season, losing 3-1 to Palace following a dismal showing at Old Trafford.
