Arsenal defender Gabriel has wasted no time in stamping his authority on the club.
The Brazilian arrived from Lille and took the club's iconic number 6 shirt for next season.
The 22-year-old is expected to be at the heart of the team's defence under Mikel Arteta for the coming seasons.
And Gabriel will wear no.6, which is a shirt the likes of legend Tony Adams have worn at the London club.
It was also worn by former captain Laurent Koscielny.
A legendary centre-back in his day, Adams is the most famous Arsenal no.6, having spent 17 years with the club.
