Telipok man escapes after learning he's positive for Covid

Kota Kinabalu: A local Telipok man found positive for Covid-19 has escaped, said the city police chief.

ACP Habibi Majinji said the local man, 53, who has an address at Taman Puterajaya, Telipok, had been asked to wait at the Kota Kinabalu Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre for his transfer to a hospital after getting his positive result at the Telipok Health Clinic.

Police are currently searching for the man and urge the public to take precautions and to alert them if they see and recognise him.
