Kota Kinabalu: Sabah has enough supply of essential items including for distribution to families in areas which are placed under lockdown and also for those under home-quarantine order, said Community Development and People’s Well-being Minister Shahelmey Yahya. He said this was based on information he received from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) on the status of essential items in the State. “To us, we have enough supply (of essential items). As of late Monday, we have distributed 57,000 food baskets from the State Government to the target groups, namely households in the Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order (Temco) areas and also in those districts under Enhanced Movement Control Order (Emco) where the first to get food aid are those households who are under home quarantine order.
