Tuaran again tops today's Covid list, with 56 cases

Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran again topped Sabah's Covid-19 caseload today with 56 new cases, data from the Ministry of Health showed.

The district recorded 56 new cases also yesterday including 51 in the Tujuh Serangkai cluster, pushing its total cases to 135.

Nine other red zones also recorded new cases, namely Kota Kinabalu (35), Putatan (9), Penampang (8), Papar (11), Lahad Datu (17), Tawau (39), Kunak (5), Semporna (36) and Sandakan (48).

Yellow zones that had new cases today were Beaufort (5), Kuala Penyu (1), Keningau (1), Sipitang (1), Beluran (1) and Kudat (1). Nabawan and Tongod remained Sabah's only green zones.

A district is a green zone if it has no active Covid-19 cases, a yellow zone if it has one to 39 cases and a red zone if 40 or more cases.
