According to German outlet Bild, Bayern and Chelsea are holding talks over the player, and a move is possible before the transfer window closes on Monday.
The issue is Chelsea have little incentive to sell, and Hudson-Odoi may well get game time this season with the cramped nature of the football calendar.
But Bayern want a fourth winger and will do their best to get a deal done.
