West Ham United No2 Alan Irvine is adamant they won't lose Declan Rice before the market shuts.
Rice impressed as the Hammers did the double over Frank Lampard's Chelsea last season, and it would need a substantial bid to bring the England man back to the club he left as a teenager.
West Ham are not believed to be in any hurry to sell one of their most important players, and assistant manager Irvine confirmed as much in his press conference ahead of the Hammers' Premier League game against Leicester City.
“I am [confident of keeping him]," said Irvine, who was deputising for David Moyes as the manager continues to self-isolate.
“I know the club don't want to sell him. I can't see why he would leave."
