Liew disappointed over absence of Health Minister

Kota Kinabalu: Api Api State Assemblywoman Datuk Christina Liew  (pic) has expressed disappointment over the unwarranted absence of a Health Minister in the State Cabinet.

Given the current critical situation in Sabah, she is perplexed as to why the new State Government has indiscriminately done away with the health ministerial portfolio (that was created by the then Warisan-led Government after the 14th General Election).

“Universally, health is a major area of concern. Right now, we are being dealt another severe blow as Sabah goes through the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the highest number of cases in the country.
