Sabah facing race against time

Kota Kinabalu: The State Sukma football may find themselves in a race against time in their preparation for the 20th Sukma Games scheduled to be held in Johor from March 29 to April 9 next year.

With six months to go, the 30 players who are shortlisted have yet to start any team training session since their names were released by MSN (Sabah Sports Council) back in July.

MSN Director Mohd Asneh Mohd Noor said on Wednesday that the number of players must be trimmed down by December 31 to 22 players, who will then form the final squad.
