kiulu folk advised on alternative routes

Tuaran: Motorists, especially Kiulu residents, are advised to use alternative routes at Jalan Logkou- Bungaliu while cleaning and repair works along Jalan Kiulu-Tamparuli are carried out due to landslides.

Tuaran Public Works Department District Engineer, Nelson George said work is being actively carried out by the Department and the concessionaire to repair the damaged roads (pic).

“Following heavy rains that caused the hillside to collapse on Oct. 5, five locations in Jalan Kiulu- Tamparuli, including one of the alternative routes, were cut off due to landslides and mudslides.
