PAS in State Assembly no ‘big issue’

PENAMPANG: Penampang Bersatu Division head, Senator Datuk John Ambrose (pic), said the appointment of a PAS member as one of the six Nominated Assemblymen is no “big issue” and should be welcomed.  He said it is about time Sabah should allow PAS to play a role in the State Government.

 “Let us give a chance to Dr Aliakbar (PAS Sabah Secretary) and PAS to contribute to the development of our beloved State,” he said.

 He also welcomed the appointment of Datuk Kadzim M Yahya as the new Sabah State Assembly Speaker and the choice of  Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor in choosing his remaining cabinet ministers and deputy ministers as well as the six Nominated Assemblymen.
