Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour is willing to go on loan in January.

The 19-year-old is out until December with a knee injury. He suffered the blow in July, and has not played since.

Given how much Chelsea have spent in the summer transfer window, finding a first team spot may be tough for Gilmour.

According to The Athletic, an unnamed football agent has said Gilmour needs to go on loan so he can play after he is fully fit.

He said: "Younger lads that didn't go on loan will force a move.

"The Carabao Cup is out of the window for the next two months as the rounds have already been played.

"Fikayo Tomori and Billy Gilmour should go in January."
